For the third year in a row, CincyDomino’s donated and delivered Domino’s Pizza for Mitch’s Mission which took place Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2-5pm. The UC Rec Center located on UC’s campus was full of supporters, their families and UC Bearcat Football Players.

“I am home town proud. This is a hometown person that is taking a negative and turning it into something very positive for our town,” states John Glass, owner of 25 local CincyDomino’s locations in the Tri-state area. This was our third year delivering pizza to this event that helps so many children who are suffer from cancer and blood diseases.

John Glass was referring to Mitch’s Mission and the founder “Mitch” who was one of the kids treated at Children’s Hospital at the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute when he was diagnosed back in 2010. He and his family developed a strong relationship with the University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Team and especially UC’s punter, Pat O’Donnell. “I consider him one of our family”, says Pat without hesitating. Mitch’s Mission helps to raise money so that these children who suffered from cancer and blood diseases could attend summer camp just like other kids. Camp NJoyItAll is held for 2 weeks every year at Camp Joy. What’s Mitch’s favorite things about Camp Joy, “Hanging out with all the kids from Children’s and having a good time!”. At Camp NJoyItAll, 100 cancer or blood disease patients get to experience the fun of summer camp no matter how medically fragile they might be. No camper is charged to attend, but it costs about $550 for each camper. Mitch’s Mission wants to pay for as many kids as possible to attend. Last year Mitch’s Mission raised $20,000 this year their goal was $25,000.

CincyDomino’s has proudly served the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area since 1996.  They have 25 locations and are still growing.  Cincinnati is their home and pizza is their pride!
